2007 Events

Archery Shoot Fundraiser 

The Tri-Cities Branch hosted an Archery Shoot fundraiser on July 13, 2007. The event was held at Miller's Sporting Goods indoor 3-D range in Piney Flats TN. With the help of PSE Pro Archer Adam Hayden and QDMA volunteers We were able to put on a very successful event. Out of the 47 participants who tried their aim in the competition the top five places were awared. The grand prize winner won a new bow from PSE while the other top finishers won some very nice prizes that were donated from several different outdoor companies. We are looking forward to working again with Miller's in 2008 to put on an even better shoot.

2007 QDMA National Convention

The 2007 QDMA National Convention was held in Chattanooga, TN. This event is a three day event that is sponsored every year by the National QDMA. It gives QDMA members from around the nation a chance to get together to socialize as well as listen to some of the Nations top Deer Biologist and Land Managers speak on QDM related topic's. The 2008 Convention is planned for July 24-27. For more information about the 2008 convention visit http://www.qdma.org/.

2007 Washington Co.VA. Fair

The Tri-Cities Branch set up a booth at the 2007 Washington Co. Fair in Abingdon VA. Several branch members dontated their time each night of the fair to answer questions concerning QDM and the QDMA.
